Official: Sneijder signs a 4 year contract with Inter Milan

One of the most discussed transfers this summer is confirmed, with Wesley Sneijder leaving Real Madrid to sign with Inter Milan in Italy. Wesley Sneijder states the following to Fobazo and his official website:
"I am playing for Inter Milan in Serie A the coming season. Right now I am on my way from Madrid to Milan, where we will finalize the paperwork and complete the medical examinations. I am really looking forward to play in Serie A."
With the expected signing, the 25 year old Dutch International will replace Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid with San Siro in Milan on an immediate transfer. Sneijder was originally sold to Real Madrid from Ajax two years ago for €27 million, making him the second most expensive Dutch football player at the time. The transfer price for his swap to Inter Milan is not yet official, but to be published here when confirmed. Sneijder was the second of three Dutchmen to sign for Real Madrid for the 2007 season. Sneijder scored 11 goals in his career for Real Madrid.
The deal is expected to finalized August 28th.
